Teeeeeeeeecha!!! hahahhahha did I tell u guys that is what my students call me?! I mean i would take Irene or even ee-ray-nay (spanish way) or even Ms. Becerra..... nah... they rather "teacher" lolz. supa cute.

So yesterday I had only 2 students, it varies from 2-8 sometimes. I have to take roll and all that jazz. They are only allowed to miss 3 times then they get kicked out or something. As a volunteer I appreciate this because you don't want your time wasted.

Anyways, lol look at my horrible handwriting on the whiteboard!! It's bad enough they have a hard time with English right? hahahhah

Yesterday we went over Possesive nouns. Seriously, I teach myself new stuff everyday. Stuff like Present Perfect, Prepositions.... when is the last time u heard that??? No worries i didn't remember either but i got a real tight Teacher's Edition so I just brush up on it and then i'm ready to go!

The classes are two hours long.... that seems like a long time but it goes by real fast. I teach the lesson and then they do worksheets and we go over them. This is probably the only time during the day that they really get to practice their English so I make sure to have them read as much as possible. My students are doing so much better! i'm proud!! hehehhehe.....

ok that was my dorky volunteer update....it's all good, it balances my life out. Always give to da community ;)
