When: Saturday.06.19.08
I woke up to take my photography class this morning taught by Kathy Adams Clark. Massive, massive information i learned!! I mean the drive behind the motivation was found in this 6 hour class...so much so that I decided to go straight to taking pictures afterwards.
I went to my precious spot like the smeagle creature I am... and peered into the man-made lake. after looking at something that i thought was horrific and finding out that it was my reflection in the water (lol) i decided to just walk around the lake. I made this friend first:

so i keep walking, walking, walking... and i meet my friend #2

alright so here I am poking around trees and poking around lakes in my secret spot in houston. The irony of it all is that this location is right on westheimer, the busiest street in houston. How da hell is that peaceful? I've yet to solve that mystery, but it just is. Its a wide nice man-made lake as seen here:

Ok so back to poking around.....poke...poke... lol...so um there was this hole... hahhaha noooo a hole in one of the trees.... so my curious a$$ goes reaching into it with a stick because I saw this camera canister thing wrapped up all funny. I grab it with sticks and pull it out and now i want to open the canister. At this point i'm thinking and hoping to find a million dollars wrapped up in a kodak film canister... hahah at the same time im not wanting some nasty spider or blood or something crazy to fall out. Instead, after peeling off the cap with two sticks (took me 10 minutes) this is what falls out:

Otays, thas enough of my adventures for this week. Anyways, I plan to buy more lenses - actually writing all this off as a business expense, will have a company name registered this week. I'm contemplating on becoming an underwater photographer. Ms. Kathy Clark is a full time Nature Photographer and she said she makes as much as she did as HR at a hospital when she worked in the corporate world...finally she was able to leave and do her passion full time. THAT is what i want! just in the water.. i am pisces.. i need to go back to my realm dammit! hahah cuz im a mermaid. hahhahahahhah omg ur retarded. yah anyways so my next endeavor is to get scuba certified sometime next month!! ooooo i can't wait!! sharks aint ready. lol hmm.. man thats not funny...

Nice, btw his name was Squirtle Squirtle kinda like Johnny two times two times from Good Fellas. So you did end up buying a SLR camera with and unfixed lense? Man, I cant wait for my classes. Its booked up till the 24th of this month then it's all about aperture and shutter speeds.(stays humble)
We almost had turtle soup there.
