My work has taken very good care of my father and I. They are giving all employees $1000 for inconvenience due to the storm. In addition, they let me take showers and cook here. Very lucky to work for such a company.

As fore FEMA... i dont have high regards for them at all. I stood in line for ice and water on hillcroft yesterday for over two hours... the supposed "hot meal" box was a bag of peanuts and two andes mint candy. ????? what da hell? am i on an airplane or something??? and for the record no one has come to the heights at all for disaster relief. No gas, no stores, no electricity at all, they need to send food out this way. I have been sharing food with my neighbors for about 3 days now. we are all doing fine yet gas is about to be a major concern cuz i dont have enough to leave the heights area. My brother has been ordering pizza in sugar land and bringing it to us. lolz... sort of like a weird camping trip....
