Hip Hop / Old Skool Night

Friday Night....... 3 Players Only .... Me, Nadeem and of course Dullah! <--He's such a consistent character in my sitcom, I really should come up with a crazy nickname for him. Anyways.... I actually missed out on chillin Thursday night at the Rodeo but we still got tickets so I'll blog about that when I go. Friday Night... actually this goes back to 3 years ago when I was working for this wholesale company. The FedEx guy would always come thru and I'm a real shy person if I don't know you (those who know me are saying "hell no" right now) yes I am dammit. Point being that he would always wave "hi" or say what's up, etc. lolz and thats all i would ever say to him! i'm such a loser.

So anyways, that is when I had just started teaching myself web design and built enough courage to leave my job.... only to come back and set up one street over from my old job! and well... guess who drives by one day and sees me! Yups! Found out his name is Mario and he started talking about his side job which is DJing...which didn't surprise me cuz the girls at my old work knew him and talked about him all the time. So about a month ago I stopped him to ask where he was DJing at and he told me he had an event on Friday.... at the GRAB bar. and he said "i only play old skool/ hip hop" and I'm like "ok." and he goes "like real old skool" hahhahah so i'm thinking i must look like a geek or not the type to listen to that music.

So yah we all headed up to GRAB bar (game room and bar..u like that huh?) and there he was! He was real happy to see me, how cool is that! hahha and I requested one of my favorite old skool jams by KRS-One called Bridge is Over and he threw it right on! yay!! man he really tore it up... he has a website in case u need to book a DJ. I was thinking maybe for my birthday...not sure yet. But its DJ MadSounds he's a real cool guy and all his info is there if ur interested. hmm i should charge him for this advertising. hahahhah

We didn't stay too long at GRAB bar...actually we were playing some shooting video game...I would have won had Dullah not been my partner. Lolz...kidding... but yah that was interferring with drinking so we had to jet. Next stop.... Club Fix...

Ok Club Fix seems kinda new....again...what am I a freakin Club critic now? geeez. U know for the record.... u guys know I only go out so much cuz i'm finished with everything and hell I really don't know what else to do.... i mean I work for myself, pay bills, do volunteer work, graduated.... that sounds like i'm bragging-what a biatch.....I'm just saying cuz its been crazy party animal days and honestly i held out all through highschool and college so I have a lot of catching up to do!! =) either that are someone has to slow me down..that'll work too.... ;) just don't want the wrong idea about me out there. all my close friends awwready know dis. it's all about working SMART and playing HARD! yesssssssss!

now this is weird... it was hip hop music...yet the crowd was.... i dunno... "Galleria"? lolz... it just didn't match!! and all of a sudden u see high class gettin low class??? i mean dullah and i already at low class... lolz joke only... i had fun regardless. I didn't put a lot of the real pics up... i had freakin white girls trying to hit on me.... wth??? hello, mono???? lolz ur wrong. and another good point Dullah made is that the guys now a days just don't dance! What is up with that??!!! like tons of girls on the dance floor and then no guys.... although the story was different the following night at Rich's hahhahah yesssss!! Ok so here are the pics!
